FRIDAY, JULY 13, 2018:  DC Water issued an important Water Alert today for large portions of DC and the affected area includes Trinity.

DO NOT DRINK WATER FROM A FAUCET OR WATER FOUNTAIN. Drink bottled water. If you are at home, boil your water or use bottled water.

Trinity is taking immediate action and is providing bottled water in the entrance lobby of every building. (NOTE: In Main Hall, water will be in the basement near the Deli.)  Trinity also took immediate measures in the Dining Hall.

UPDATE:  FRIDAY, JULY 13, 2018: 1:00 PM:  DC Water has posted a REVISED Map of Affected Areas (Blue Area, below):

DC Residents:  DC Water posted an interactive version of this map – you can enter your address and see if you are in the zone. DC Water advises: If customers are outside the impacted area on the map, but experienced low or no water pressure, they should also boil their water. If you are in the affected area, you should use bottled water or boil water. Simply filtering water is not recommended. DC Water also notes: “There is NO CONFIRMED drinking water contamination. As a precaution, we advise affected customers to boil water as a loss of pressure in the pipe system makes it possible for water contamination.”

DC Water continues to test the water and expects the Water Advisory to last through at least Saturday morning.

Here are details on what to do.
