The Trinity Tigers overcame a slow start Wednesday night beating the Phoenix from Wilson College 59-53.  The Tigers were down ten points at halftime shooting on 12 percent from the floor.  In the second half the Tigers out shot the Phoenix by 16 points.  Junior guard Christa Burgess had a season high 20 points, 2 assists and 5 steals.  Freshman guard Shelby Swann followed with 12 points and 5 assists. 

The Tigers are now 8-2 on the season.
