The  Trinity  Tigers  basketball  team  opened their  home  season  on  Saturday beating Penn  State-York   63-54.  The  Tigers  started  off  strong  with  their  intimidating  defense,  causing multiple turnovers.  The  Tigers  never  let  up and went into halftime with a score of  33-21.   Junior  guard,  Christa  Burgess  had  an  outstanding  game  scoring  22  points  and  14  steals.  Junior  guard,  Thamar  Polynice  followed  with  10  points  and  5  steals.  Junior  guard,  Charity  Blackwell  had   8  points  and  3  steals. Great  defense  is  what  led  the  Tigers  to  their  first  win  of  the  season.  The  Tigers  are  set  to  face  Christendom  College  on  Monday  night.  Game time is 7:00 pm.  The Tigers are now 1-1 on the season.
