Monday, August 29: Trinity OPEN, Classes in Session

To receive urgent text message alerts from Trinity, text "trinitydcalerts" to phone number 555888. This service is used only for emergency and weather updates.

Trinity will be open its usual hours on Monday, August 29, and classes will go on as scheduled; all faculty and staff should report for work at the usual times.  Trinity’s campus did not sustain any serious damages or power outages during Hurricane Irene.

We realize that some neighborhoods were hit harder than our campus, and some students, faculty or staff may have a hard time getting out of your neighborhoods on Monday.  As is always the case with weather emergencies, you must use prudence in deciding whether to travel.  Students who cannot make it to class should notify your professors directly.  Staff who cannot come to work should notify supervisors.  Faculty who cannot meet classes must use the course cancellation protocols that you have previously received.
