- February 22, 2011 In the last home game of the season, the Tigers entered Tuesday night’s game to take on  the Phoenix from Wilson College with a chance to end their season with a winning record.  The Tigers started off sluggish hitting only 10 for 26 and trailed Wilson at half by 9 points.  The Tigers trailed most of the second half but were able to keep the game within reach.   With 6 minutes left in the game on a steal by Charity Blackwell and a layup by LaShawna Ervin the Tigers tied the game 48-48 and the never looked back.  The Tigers outscored Wilson in the second half …

- Monday February 14th The Trinity Tigers celebrated Valentine’s Day with a convincing victory Monday night beating the Crusaders from Christendom College 72-53.   The Tigers struggled in the first half shooting only 7 for 42 and went into halftime down 26-32 but quickly found their rhythm outscoring the Crusaders by 25 points securing the win.  Senior Danielle Owens led the team with 19 points and recorded her 9th double-double of the season with 13 rebounds.  Sophomore, Thamar Polynice added 15 points for the Tigers and Sophomore LaShawna Ervin netted in 12 points.   Sophomore Charity Blackwell hit the boards hard for the …

- February 9, 2011 The Trinity Tigers Basketball team blanked the Crusaders from Christendom College last night 83-53.  The Tigers started out strong and at the 6th minute mark went on a 10-0 run and never looked back.  They went into halftime leading 42-22.   It was a complete team effort with every player making a contribution.  Sophomore, LaShawna Ervin led the Tigers with 19 points and 7 assists.  Senior, Stefonie Kelly recorded her first double double of the season with 14 points and 10 rebounds.   Sophomore, Dominique Meriedy contributed 12 points and Senior Danielle Owens continued her rebounding streak with 14.  …

- Monday January 31, 2011 The Trinity Tigers won convincingly last night beating the Lions from Penn State York 71-51.   The Tigers were up 11 points at the end of the first half and never looked back.  Senior Danielle Owens led the team with 19 points and recorded her sixth double double of the season with 12 rebounds.  Freshman LaShawna Ervin netted 13 points on the night and Sophomore Thamar Polynice contributed 11 points.  The Tigers are home on Wednesday night as they take on the Knights from Southern Virginia University.  Game time is 6:00 pm.
