The Trinity Tigers won their first road game last night beating the Crimson Eagles from Philadelphia Biblical University 64-59.  The Eagles had a 57-52 edge with a minute and a half remaining but theTigers full-court press erased the deficit by forcing three Eagle turnovers on three consecutive possessions.

The Tigers, with a 9-0 spurt, went from down five to ahead by four in less than 60 seconds. The Tigers hit nine straight free throws to help close out the game and seal the five point victory.    The Tigers had 44 rebounds and hit 22 free throws.  Freshman, LaShawna Ervin led the Tigers in scoring with 18 points, 3 assists and 3 steals.  Senior, Danielle Owens had her second double-double of the season with 17 points and 14 rebounds.    Senior, Stefonie Kelly and Sophomore Charity Blackwell both netted in 10 points for the Tigers.  The Tigers are now 3-1. The Tigers are home Thursday night as they face the Chargers from Lancaster Bible College.  Game time is 7:00 pm.
