The Trinity Tigers Soccer team lost their home opener falling to the College of Notre Dame Gators 2-4. The Gators took the lead in the 12th minute off an unassisted goal by Ashley Cumberland but just 4 minutes later Junior Kiauna Hemsley tied the score. The Gators scored once more before halftime taking the 2-1 lead. In the second half the Gators scored two quick goals in the first ten minutes to take a 4-1 lead, but the Tigers mounted a comeback and in the 60th minute Kiauna Hemsley scored another goal assisted by Macee Wray but unfortunately time ran out on the Tigers.
The Tigers are in action again on Wednesday travelling to Wilson College.
