Tigers Season Ends

- February 23, 2010 The Trinity Tigers ended their season Tuesday night losing to Lancaster Bible 45-54.  The Tigers had a one point lead going into halftime but we unable to hold that lead as they were outscored 18-28 in the second half.  Ashley Brown led the Tigers with 20 points and 8 rebounds.  Thamar Polynice contributed with 10 points.  The Tigers finished the season 6-9.

Tigers Lose Tough one…

- February 20, 2010 The Trinity Tigers lost a tough game Saturday afternoon falling to Gallaudet University 57-71.   Trinity had three players in double figures led by Bree Martin and Ashley Brown who both scored 15 points.  Thamar Polynice netted in 10 points, 9 assists and 5 steals.  The Tigers closely contested the second half but Trinity couldn’t get back the lead from the Bison. Trinity pulled to within seven points, 63-56, with less than four minutes left in the game but Gallaudet closed out the game on an 8-1 run. The Tigers play their final game on the season Tuesday …

Tigers Lose in Overtime

- February 17, 2010 The Trinity Tigers basketball team suffered a heartbreaking loss Wednesday night as the fell to Rosemont College in overtime 75-78.   The score was kept close in the first half with Rosemont leading going into break 28-33.  In the second half the Tigers outscored Rosemont 40-35. With the Tigers down three points with just seconds left Thamar Polynice sunk a three point shot from half court sending the game into overtime.  The Tigers had five players in double figures. Three in a Row

- February 4, 2010 The Trinity Tigers basketball team won their third straight game of the season beating Penn State Abington 59-42.  Stefonie Kelly recorded her first double-double of the season with 17 points and 11 rebounds.  Thamar Polynice and Morgan Kellman both had 10 points on the night.  Charity Blackwell played well defensively for the Tigers with 12 rebounds.  The Tigers are now 6-6.

Tigers Victorious

- February 2, 2010 The Trinity Tigers basketball team recorded their fifth win of the season Tuesday night beating Philadelphia Bible University 53-42.  The Tigers held a 29-19 lead at halftime but Philadelphia Bible closed the gap in the second half to a one point at the 9 minute mark.  The Tigers surged ahead for good off a couple three point shots by Charity Blackwell and Ellen Bethea.  Ellen Bethea led the scoring for the Tigers with 14 points followed by Charity Blackwellwho had 13 points and 7 rebounds.  The Tigers are now 5-6.  They are in action again at home on Thursday as they …
