The Trinity Tigers basketball team lost a close one Saturday afternoon as they fell to Valley Forge College 47-49.   The Tigers started off the scoring with a jumper by Ashley Brown but quickly found themselves down 3-11 off two three-pointers by Valley Forge’s Amanda Reich.  The Tigers fought back and went into halftime only down two points.

At the opening of the second half Ashley Brown tied up the game for the Tigers 21-21.  For the rest of the second half there would be eight lead changes with the two teams equally exchanging baskets.  With only a few seconds left in the game Thamar Polynice  made a full court drive to the basket and was apparently fouled but the Tigers didn’t get the call and lost by two points.

Ashley Brown led the Tigers with a team high 25 points and 9 rebounds.  Dominique Meriedy followed with 9 points and 7 rebounds.  The Tigers are on Christmas break and will be back in action on January 19th as they travel to Catholic University.
