Tigers Win 4th Game in a Row….

On a cold rainy day the Tigers travelled to Staunton VA, to face the Mary Baldwin Squirrels.   It took the Tigers 7 minutes to take the lead as Kiauna Hemsley scored  on an assist from Macee Wray.  Three minutes later Kiauna scored again on an assist from Courtney Haines.  The Tigers headed into halftime with a 2-0 lead.

Twenty minutes into the second half the Squirrels would put themselves on the board with an own goal by the Tigers.  Three minutes later, Cristina Martinez, playing double duty as goalie and striker, scored her first goal of the season on an assist from Brenda Martinez.  Cristina would add another goal with 8 minutes left in the game on an assist by Kiauna Hemsely.  The Tigers are now 7-5.
