The Tigers defense was the key to a 51-44 victory over Newport News Apprentice School. The Apprentice school was held to 13.3 percent shooting in the second half. Preshuse Jackson led the Tigers with 12 points followed by Danielle Pettis with 11 and Ashley West contributed 10 points. The Tigers travel to Southern Virginia University on February 2nd.
