Tigers Win

- The Tigers defense was the key to a 51-44 victory over Newport News Apprentice School. The Apprentice school was held to 13.3 percent shooting in the second half. Preshuse Jackson led the Tigers with 12 points followed by Danielle Pettis with 11 and Ashley West contributed 10 points. The Tigers travel to Southern Virginia University on February 2nd.

Tigers Lose Close One

- The Trinity Tigers lost a heart breaker to visiting Randolph College 46-45, as Preshuse Jackson’s jumper fell short at the buzzer. Senior, Ashley West finished the night with a team high 16 points followed by Preshuse Jackson who had 10 points.

Tigers Lose In Overtime

- The Tigers basketball team lost to Gallaudet University 81-73 in overtime Tuesday night. Preshuse Jackson led the Tigers in scoring with 25 points. Three other Tigers were in double figures; Ashley West had 16 points, Danielle Pettis contributed 13 and Danielle Owens recorded her 8th double-double of the season (10 points, 13 rebounds).

Tigers Hold off Bryn Mawr

- Danielle Pettis recorded her first career double-double (12 points, 10 rebounds) as the Tigers beat Bryn Mawr 70-57. Senior, Ashley West tallied 17 points followed by Preshuse Jackson with 14 and Danielle Owens with 12 points. The Tigers travel to Gallaudet University on Tuesday night, game time is 6:00 pm.

Tigers Fall to Blazers

- Despite Danielle Owens’ team leading, 7th double-double (11 points, 15 rebounds) and Danielle Pettis’ career high 17 points, the Trinity Tigers fell to the Hood College Blazers 69-62. Preshuse Jackson added 12 points to the game. The Tigers look to bounce back in a home contest on Saturday January 19th against Bryn Mawr College. Game time is 2:00 pm.

Tigers Go Cold in Second Half

- The Tigers Basketball team had a six point lead going into halftime against St. Mary’s College of Maryland but went into a slump in the second half and fell to the Seahawks 73-49. Preshuse Jackson had a team high 12 points followed by Danielle Owens who notched another double-double (10 points, 10 rebounds). The Tigers return to action Wednesday against Hood College in Frederick, Maryland.

Tigers Fall to SVU

- Ashley West and Preshuse Jackson both scored in double figures, but it was not enough as the Tigers lose to Southern Virginia University 73-51. Ashley West had a team high 16 points followed by Preshuse Jackson who added 10 points. Morgan Kellman controlled the boards for the Tigers with a game high 10 rebounds. The Tigers are back in action again on Monday, January 14th at St. Mary’s College of Maryland.

- Despite holding a 14 point halftime lead with four players scoring in double figures, the Trinity Tigers Basketball team lost to visiting Centenary College (NJ) 77-75. Preshuse Jackson scored a team high 18 points followed by Danielle Owens with 16, Ashley West with 14, and Shereese Russell with 12 points.

Tigers Bow to Shenandoah Hornets

- Despite out-rebounding the Hornets by a 57-37 margin, the Trinity Tigers Basketball Team could not pull out a victory as they lost to Shenandoah University 68-53 at the Trinity Center. Ashley West led the Tigers in scoring with 15 points followed by Preshuse Jackson with 13. West also pulled down 10 rebounds giving her a double-double for the second time this season. Danielle Owens also contributed on the boards by pulling down a game high 16 rebounds.

Tigers Split at Blue Jay Classic

- The Trinity Tigers Basketball Team ended the first half of the regular season on a good not as they won in the consolation game of the Blue Jay Classic held at Elizabethtown College, PA. In the first game of the classic, the Tigers faced host Elizabethtown and dropped that contest 75-41. Preshuse Jackson led the Tigers in scoring with 12 points followed by Ashley West with 11 points.
