The Trinity Tigers Basketball team came up short in a home contest Saturday afternoon against Newport News Apprentice School. Newport News used a balanced attack, which produced four players in double figures and gave them a 58-74 victory.

Trinity was led by Senior Lauren Hall who had a game high 17 points followed by Senior Ashley West with 14. The Tigers are back in action on Thursday against AWCC conference leader the College of Notre Dame. Game time is at 7:00 pm.
