The Tigers basketball team hit the road Thursday night for their first game of the New Year and pulled out an impressive 58-40 Athlantic Women’s College Conference victory over the Phoenix of Wilson College.

Center, Ashely West (Forestville, MD) had total control in the paint as she shot 11 for 19 from the field and finished with a game high 27 points and 17 rebounds. Shereese Russell (Prince Frederick, MD) and Lauren Hall (Baltimore, MD) both chipped in with 8 points to help the Tigers improve their record to 4-5 overall and 1-0 in conference play.

The Tigers are in action at home this Saturday, January 13th against conference rival Chatham Collge of Pennsylvania. Game time is at 2:00 pm.
