- Metro Red Line, Saturday, November 25 to Sunday, December 10, 2017: No Trains Between Fort Totten and Silver Spring Beginning on Saturday, November 25, through Sunday, December 10, there will be no Red Line trains operating between Fort Totten and Silver Spring (north of Trinity’s Brookland station) to undertake a major capital improvement project. The Takoma station will be closed. There will be limited supplemental bus service between Ft.
