Tigers Finish Strong..

- October 22, 2011 The Trinity Tigers Soccer team finished the season strong Saturday afternoon beating the Crusaders from Valley Forge 5-0.   Senior Captain Kiauna Hemsley started off the scoring in 24th minute on a breakaway beating the keeper one on one.  Hemsley would eventually add 3 more goals before the end of the day.   Senior Captain Macee Wray also added a goal shooting from outside 30 yards placing a perfectly kicked ball in the upper left side of the net.  The Tigers ended the season    7-7.

Hemsley Named Association of Division III Independents Student-Athlete of the Month for September

-  For Immediate Release October 13, 2011 The Association of Division III Independents (AD3I) named women’s soccer forward Kiauna Hemsley (Baltimore, Md.), a senior from Trinity Washington University, its Student-Athlete of the Month for the month of September. Hemsley led her squad to a 6-3 record last month with 13 goals, three assists and 29 points. She tallied four goals and an assist in a 5-1 win over Gallaudet University on September 10, netted a hat trick in a 3-0 shutout of Mary Baldwin College on September 17, and provided the game-winning goal in a 2-1 victory over Wilson College on …

- Cuvilly Drive, One Way Traffic, Monday – Friday, 4 pm to 10 pm Cuvilly Drive is now ONE WAY, Monday – Friday, 4 pm – 10 pm. During these times, all vehicles must exit out the Trinity Center Gate onto Franklin Street. Vehicles may not exit out the Trinity Center Gate at any other times. In addition, vehicles may not enter campus via the Trinity Center Gate.

Athlete of the Week

- This week’s athlete of the week is Freshman Volleyball player Shelby Swann. Shelbyplays the libero position, and her defensive play is what makes her a standout.  When asked who inspired her to  play  volleyball,  Shelby  replied,  “I  started  in  the  9th grade, I was  curious  about  the  sport and  needed  a  fall  sport  to  play  before  basketball  season.”  Volleyball has become an important part of her life next to her love for basketball.  She plans to play during this upcoming basketball.  Basketball is her passion, but it’s difficult  for  her  to  choose  which  sport  is  her  favorite.  When asked how …
