Tigers lose first Conference Game

- The Trinity Tigers Lacrosse team lost their first Confernce game 16-2 against Hood College. Eva Portillo had another great showing in goal with 14 saves. Sara Lee Cummings and Shanita Conley scored their first goals of the season. The Tigers next game is against the College of Notre Dame on April 2nd at 4:00 pm.

TIGERS TENNIS

- The Trinity Tigers Tennis lost its match against the University of DC today. In doubles Evgeniya and Anastasiya Martynova lost to Peterson/Backari 5-8. In singles play, Yianna Sideris lost to Eniola Backari in three sets 7-5, 2-6, 0-6. The Tigers are back on the road on April 1st as they head to Mary Baldwin College to face in the Squirrels in Conference play.

TIGERS FALL AT HOME

- The Trinity Tigers lost Friday 19-3 against Ferrum College. Eva Portillo had another great performance in goal with 12 saves. Janie Pacheco had two goals with one assit by Laura Regester and Brenda Martinez scored her first goal of the season. The Tigers hit the road Monday for a non-conference game against Nuemann College.

BASKETBALL EARNS AWCC HONORS

- We are pleased to announce the Atlantic Women’s College Conference Selections for All-Conference Teams. Lauren Hall was named to the All-AWCC First Team. Lauren was second in scoring in the conference averaging 16.4 points per game. Ashley West was named to the All-AWCC Second Team. These two players stood out within the conference and were recognized by opposing coaches as players who were worthy of special recognition. Head Coach Gary Blake earned AWCC Coach of the Year. Tigers Fall in First Game

- Trinity Tigers lost their first game of the season 14-1 against Washington College on Saturday. Eva Portillo had a solid performance in goal with 12 saves. Janie Pacheco scored her first goal of the season off an oustanding defensive play by Danielle Cooley, who brought the ball up the field from the defensive end, setting up the opportunity for the score. The Tigers next game is at home on Saturday, March 17th at 11:00 am against Wells College
