The Academic Services Center, located in the Library, provides assistance to students so they might realize academic success while studying here. Although we are here to help you if you need it, we provide much more than academic support and tutoring. The Academic Services Center includes Career Services, Disability Student Services, and the Writing Center. The Academic Services Center provides useful information to students so they will not have to face academic difficulties. In addition, Academic Services administers the placement assessment, special testing services for makeup exams (Guide for Students, Guide for Faculty), as well as provides other learning resources such as seminars, consultations, and discussions on academic success. May Tip for Academic Success:After you complete your final exams, review your semester goals to determine your success. If you have met your goals, be sure to celebrate your success with a reward or treat. If you did not meet your goals, determine what hindrances prevented you from achieving them. Identify ways that you can overcome these obstacles in the future. Create new goals for the summer and determine what resources you will need to achieve these goals.
