You Can Do It!
About the Writing Center
The Writing Center, located in the Academic Services Center, Library 103, welcomes students to talk one-on-one about their writing at any stage during the writing process. Students may meet with a Writing Tutor or arrange a conference with the Director. We will share tips, techniques and resources you can use to become a better writer and develop your confidence in your writing ability.
Take advantage of our walk in hours, or use the appointment request form to save your spot, and don’t forget to check our list of things to bring to your appointment. Expect your conferences to last between 30 and 50 minutes. We recommend you plan your visit at least a day or two in advance.
No time to visit?
Did you know you can find writing assistance online, day or night? If you have specific questions about source citation, document formatting or similar issues, try Purdue’s Online Writing Lab. It offers information on a wide range of topics related to writing. Use the menu on the left side of the OWL’s page to navigate the site.
