Disability Support Services
Disability Support Services (DSS) is committed to facilitating the development and attainment of educational goals for Trinity students with disabilities by ensuring equal access to University programs and services as well as promoting student self-advocacy and campus-wide disability awareness. As a matter of policy and practice, Trinity’s DSS complies with the requirements of Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act (1990 and 2008 Amendments).
If you are a student with a cognitive, psychological or physical disability and you are experiencing academic and/or environmental barriers, you may be eligible to receive reasonable accommodations to help reduce those barriers. You are encouraged to visit DSS to get more information and to schedule an appointment.
If you are a student taking continuing education classes and require interpreter services (ASL), please also contact DSS. You should contact DSS at least four (4) weeks prior to the start of your class in order to register with DSS and to allow DSS ample time to secure interpreters. Please visit Continuing Education for a list of their policies.
This also applies to visitors who require interpreting services while on campus and to students who are taking credit hour classes. If you require ASL interpreting, complete the online request at least four (4) weeks prior to your needing services.
