Blood Drive for Children's Hospital

March 15, 2022 - 11:00 am
Alumnae Hall Plaza

We have all heard the news reports that the American Red Cross is facing a national blood crisis – its worst blood shortage in over a decade, posing a concerning risk to patient care.

Here is an opportunity to donate whole blood to help patients at Children’s National Hospital.  Currently, there is a local shortage of whole blood and platelets throughout the region. All of the blood collected for Children’s Hospital remains at the hospital to support children with cancer, sickle cell disease, surgeries, and other chronic illness. One unit can help 4-5 little people at Children’s.  There is a real need for donation, in our community, and you can help.

We will have an on-campus Trinity Washington blood drive:

Date:               Tuesday, March 15, 2022

Time:               11 am- 4pm

Location:         Alumnae Hall Basement
