\"Author<\/a>So many women of achievement are gathering for the 2018 Reunion!\u00a0 Above is a photo of Dr. Virginia Bergin MacKenzie, Class of 1958, who just published a remarkable book about a family’s daring escape from the terrible civil war in Liberia in 1990.\u00a0 The Shirt on His Back<\/a><\/em> tells the story of Joe and Vera Bailey and their daughters during the chaos at the end of the Taylor regime.\u00a0 The book is available on Amazon in Kindle and hardcover versions. Here’s Dr. MacKenzie presenting the book to Liberian Ambassador to the U.S. Lois Brutus:<\/p>\n
