November 10, 2017 - As a faculty member, you have the ability to temporarily switch your ‘role’ so that your view of your course is that of a student’s view. This is especially helpful, if you want to verify if certain items are hidden or visible to students. To switch your role to that of students, follow these steps below. November 6, 2017 - The ‘Grader Report’ is the spreadsheet-like view with all the students listed down the left side of the screen, and all the graded activities listed across the top.You can change the view in the ‘Grader Report’ to ‘Aggregates only’ to allow you to just see the students’ names and the course totals. How do I allow a single student a second attempt on an assignment activity? [Moodle version 3.2]

October 20, 2017 - If you have not enabled the ‘Submit’ button or required the students to accept the submission statement, and it is still before the Cut-Off date/time in the system, the student should be able to delete the existing submission and add a new one without faculty intervention. October 18, 2017 - The official class list can be found in Self-Service, Trinity’s registration and enrollment platform. To view the official enrollment, follow these steps below. Login to Self-Service. Self-Service is the shopping cart icon at the top of the main Trinity webpages:You can also reach Self-Service directly at http://selfservice.trinitydc.edu/. Once on the Self-Service main page, login using your normal Trinity account information. How do I track changes in my students’ documents in Moodle? [Moodle version 3.2]

October 4, 2017 - Unfortunately, there is no way to do shared document editing in the current installation of Moodle. You would need to download the students’ documents to your own computer. Make and track the changes. Save the file on your computer with a name that will help you locate it again (e.g., Paper2_FEEDBACK_StudentLastName-StudentFirstName.docx, StudentLastName-Paper2_FEEDBACK, etc.). Then go into the assignment activity and upload the file as a feedback file as you are grading. October 4, 2017 - Right now, there is no way in our current installation of Moodle to edit Word documents through Moodle. You will need to download them to your own computer, make the changes, and then upload them as a feedback file for your students through the assignment activity. September 19, 2017 - Occasionally, you will find that one of the questions on a quiz activity is incorrect or invalid. You have a number of options available to you to address this and regrade a quiz activity. You can adjust the problematic question, and run a regrade for all (or selected) quiz attempts.
