Trinity’s Counseling Programs Receive CACREP Accreditation

- Trinity’s master’s degree programs in clinical mental health counseling and school counseling have both received accreditation from the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Programs (CACREP). “This is a very important step forward for these programs that prepare professional counselors for a wide range of settings,” said President Pat McGuire. “This is the first CACREP accreditation for these programs and truly a significant achievement. Trinity’s Baccalaureate Nursing Program Receives Full Approval from D.C. Board of Nursing

- Trinity Washington University is pleased to announce that the baccalaureate nursing program received full approval from the District of Columbia Board of Nursing in December 2018. The D.C. - Trinity Washington University proudly welcomes Dreamers, and encourages eligible students to apply to TheDream.US Scholarship program by the January 31 and February 28, 2019, deadlines. TheDream.US provides college scholarships to highly motivated Dreamers who seek a college education but cannot afford it; applicants must be DACA or TPS eligible and have applied for or received DACA or TPS approval. TheDream.US requires scholarship recipients to attend one of its partner institutions, and Trinity is the only partner university in Washington, D.C. TheDream.US offers two scholarships. Trinity Nursing Programs Receive Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education – CCNE – Accreditation

- The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) approved accreditation for Trinity Washington University’s nursing programs: Trinity’s Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program, up for its first accreditation, was granted CCNE accreditation for three years, and may be approved for up to five years after submission of an interim report in 2018. Trinity’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program received CCNE accreditation approval for the next ten years, extending its current accreditation through 2027.
