- Trinity Washington University will present an honorary doctor of letters to Sharon Brady Raimo ’69, ’94, at Commencement on Saturday, May 18, 2019, in recognition of her lifetime of achievement and her commitment to improving the lives of children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Sharon Brady Raimo earned her undergraduate degree from Trinity in 1969 and her graduate degree in education from Trinity in 1994. Trinity’s Counseling Programs Receive CACREP Accreditation

- Trinity’s master’s degree programs in clinical mental health counseling and school counseling have both received accreditation from the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Programs (CACREP). “This is a very important step forward for these programs that prepare professional counselors for a wide range of settings,” said President Pat McGuire. “This is the first CACREP accreditation for these programs and truly a significant achievement. Many employers today require their counselors to be graduates of CACREP approved schools, so this accreditation will open even more career pathways for our counseling graduates.” Trinity’s established program in counseling offers two graduate degrees through …

- The interview will be incoming Speaker Pelosi’s first major television event after being sworn in as Speaker of the House on January 3, 2019. Trinity Graduate Michael Thomasian ’02 Named Principal of the Year by Archdiocese of Washington

- Michael Thomasian, who earned his master of arts in teaching from Trinity Washington University’s School of Education in 2002, was named the Archdiocese of Washington’s Principal of the Year.
