Senior Jessica Dickerson Honored With St. Catherine Medal at Cap and Gown Convocation

Trinity senior Jessica Dickerson was honored with the St. Catherine Medal at Cap and Gown Convocation on Saturday, September 29, 2007. The award is given by Kappa Gamma Pi, the National Catholic College Graduate Honor Society, to recognize an outstanding senior who reflects the ideals of St. Catherine, a third century woman renowned for her love of learning and who is honored as the patron saint of philosophers. Trinity is a member of Kappa Gamma Pi and nominates the honoree based on a review of her academic, co-curricular and leadership achievements.

jessica_dickerson.jpgDickerson, a native of New Orleans, has distinguished herself in many ways during her years at Trinity. She is a student leader and a resident assistant, and has been on the Dean’s list every semester. She is involved in many campus activities and community service projects at Trinity. She is a member of the Psychology Club and has worked as a Trinity tutor. She was a tutor with Heads Up, a local literacy organization, and was selected to be a Young People For fellow.
