Internet Service in Residence Halls

Resident students with a computer meeting the minimum computing standards connect to the university network with either wireless or wired connections. We recommend wired for best performance.

To connect using a wired connection, students must purchase a Cat5e or Cat6 ethernet cable. These cables can be purchased from Trinity’s bookstore or any other electronics store.

If you are in Main Hall, Alumnae or Cuvilly residence halls, connect your computer to the purple port for network and IPTV. Do not connect to the blue port.

If you are in the Kerby residence hall, connect your computer to the bottom two ports for network and IPTV.

All users must agree to abide by the Technology & Telecommunications policy to connect to Trinity’s Network.

For best service, contact Technology Services using our online Service Request Form. You can also contact us at 202-884-9811. The Technology Services office is located on the first floor of the Payden Academic Center, Suite 122.
