Trinity Washington University is seeking an adjunct faculty member to teach one section of Physiological Psychology (PSYC 241) in the Psychology program housed in the School of Professional Studies during the fall 2017 semester. This accelerated class will meet once weekly during Term 2, of the fall semester, for 8 weeks from 6:30-10 p.m. on Friday evenings.
QUALIFICATIONS: Successful candidates should have earned a Doctoral degree from an accredited institution in psychology with a biological or neuroscience concentration. ABD’s will be considered. Must be able to demonstrate strong teaching skills.
Official transcripts for all degrees earned, sample course syllabi, course evaluations and/or other evidence of teaching effectiveness, and contact information for three professional references will be needed if the candidate is invited to campus for an interview. Knowledge of best teaching practices is required. Finalists will be invited to campus for an interview and teaching demonstration. Preference is given to candidates who demonstrate excellence with engaged and active learning practices.
