Trinity Washington University is seeking adjunct faculty members to teach Organic Chemistry for Fall 2017.

CHEM 221 (3 credits): Organic Chemistry II meets T/Th, 9–10:15PM

CHEM 223 (1 credit): Organic Chemistry Laboratory II meets Tuesday 1:30-5:30PM

QUALIFICATIONS: Successful candidates should have earned at least a Master’s degree from an accredited institution in chemistry or a related discipline and be able to demonstrate strong teaching skills.  English and Spanish proficiency are desirable.

Official transcripts for all degrees earned, sample course syllabi, course evaluations and/or other evidence of teaching effectiveness, and contact information for three professional references will be needed if the candidate is invited to campus for an interview. Knowledge of best teaching practices is required. Finalists will be invited to campus for an interview and teaching demonstration. Preference is given to candidates who demonstrate excellence with engaged and active learning practices.
