Full Potential – Tutoring (Federal Work Study Only)

 
 

Full Potential provides students with academic tutoring, homework assistance leadership classes such as Entrepreneurship, Financial Literacy, Life Skills and Community Involvement.

Mission: To develop students’ academic and leadership skills

Vision: To see our students succeed in their academics, exceed their goals and exceed in life.

Description of Duties:

  • Provide one-on-one tutoring to a student for 1 hour per day Mondays and Fridays (Training will be provided on how to successfully tutor and mentor students and assess students’ skill level)
  • Create lesson plans based on students’ academic skill level
  • Write and publish articles on their experience improving student lives
  • Provide clerical support
  • Other duties may be assigned

 Location: TBD

Must be a college student in their sophomore, junior or senior year. Must enjoy working with children, must be kind, patient and ready to learn from the students as well as teach them.
