Adjunct Faculty for Physics
Trinity Washington University is seeking an adjunct faculty member to teach a 4 credit section of General Physics I for Fall 2018.
PHYS 111: General Physics I meets Wed & Fri: 12:00 – 1:15 PM, and Fri: 1:30 – 4:30 PM
QUALIFICATIONS: Successful candidates should have earned at least a Master’s degree from an accredited institution in physics or a related discipline and be able to demonstrate strong teaching skills.
Official transcripts for all degrees earned, sample course syllabi, course evaluations and/or other evidence of teaching effectiveness, and contact information for three professional references will be needed if the candidate is invited to campus for an interview. Knowledge of best teaching practices is required. Finalists will be invited to campus for an interview and teaching demonstration. Preference given to candidates who demonstrate excellence with engaged and active learning practices.
