Adjunct Faculty for Physical Education and Health

Trinity Washington University is seeking adjunct faculty members to teach the following PEH courses for fall 2017.

Martial Arts (2 credits): meets Thursday, 7:00–8:40PM

Nutrition & Wellness (2 credits): meets TuTh 9:00 AM – 9:50 AM

QUALIFICATIONS: Successful candidates should have earned at least a Master’s degree from an accredited institution and be able to demonstrate strong credentials or experience in teaching martial arts and/or nutrition & wellness.

Official transcripts for all degrees earned, sample course syllabi, course evaluations and/or other evidence of teaching effectiveness, and contact information for three professional references will be needed if the candidate is invited to campus for an interview. Knowledge of best teaching practices is required. Finalists will be invited to campus for an interview and teaching demonstration. Preference given to candidates who demonstrate excellence with engaged and active learning practices.
