Adjunct for Criminal Justice


Trinity Washington University is seeking adjunct faculty members to teach the following course in Fall 2017: Juvenile Justice Tu/Th 10:30 AM – 11:45 AM (3 credits).

QUALIFICATIONS: Successful candidates should have earned at least a Master’s degree from an accredited institution in Criminal Justice, Criminology, or any related field.  Qualified candidates must be able to demonstrate strong teaching skills.

Official transcripts for all degrees earned, sample course syllabi, course evaluations and/or other evidence of teaching effectiveness, and contact information for three professional references will be needed if the candidate is invited to campus for an interview. Knowledge of best teaching practices is required. Finalists will be invited to campus for an interview and teaching demonstration. Preference is given to candidates who demonstrate excellence with engaged and active learning practices, with strong backgrounds in higher education pedagogy and classroom instruction. English and Spanish proficiency are desirable.
