Trinity Washington University is seeking adjunct faculty members to teach two four-credit sections of Mathematics for Fall 2016.
Math 108: Finite Mathematics meets T/Th, 1:30-2:45PM; Friday 1:30pm -2:30pm
Math 109: Foundations of Mathematics meets T/Th, 12–1:15PM; Friday 12:00pm-12:50pm
QUALIFICATIONS: Successful candidates should have earned at least a Master’s degree from an accredited institution in mathematics or a related discipline and be able to demonstrate strong teaching skills.
Official transcripts for all degrees earned, sample course syllabi, course evaluations and/or other evidence of teaching effectiveness, and contact information for three professional references will be needed if the candidate is invited to campus for an interview. Knowledge of best teaching practices is required. Finalists will be invited to campus for an interview and teaching demonstration. Preference given to candidates who demonstrate excellence with engaged and active learning practices.
