The Office of Admissions seeks an experienced and dynamic marketing and recruitment professional to serve as the Associate Director for Enrollment Development for the College of Arts and Sciences, Transfer Admission for the university’s historical women’s College of Arts and Sciences. The College specializes in teaching motivated women to develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence to be global leaders in the 21st century by obtaining their bachelor’s degree in business, technology, science, health care, education and other liberal arts fields.
The Associate Director for Enrollment Development for the College of Arts and Sciences,
Transfer Admissions reports to the Executive Director for Enrollment Development for the College of Arts and Sciences. The position will primarily focus on the recruitment strategy and full cycle admissions processes to support an increase to new transfer students enrolled in the wide array of undergraduate programs offered by the College of Arts and Sciences. The position will involve partnership cultivation with academic advisors, career advisors, student affairs professionals and faculty to build new transfer student pipelines from community colleges and other two-year institutions. The position will also require strategies to identify students who have attended other four-year institutions who now desire to enroll at Trinity. The successful candidate will bring proven sales, data and market research skills to develop successful recruitment strategies to target and yield new transfer student enrollment. The position will involve facilitation of transfer credit evaluations, review of application and credentials for admission and providing consistent support to students during the transfer process. Other duties will include coordinating on and off campus recruitment events for prospective first year and transfer students.
Successful candidates will have at least 3-5 years of proven sales, recruitment and marketing to develop lead pools; manage conversion and yield strategies; increasing applications and enrollments through innovative market outreach and sales strategies; building professional networks and student pipelines with community colleges, two-year and four-year in the Washington, D. C., Southern Maryland and Northern Virginia to achieve daily, weekly and semesterly results according to Trinity’s strategic goals. Candidates must have excellent communication skills both orally and in writing, and be able to demonstrate creativity, flexibility, loyalty, and stamina. Experience in collegiate admissions and marketing for women’s undergraduate programs is preferred. Experience working with diverse student populations, especially those who have been historically excluded and underrepresented is ideal. Prior experience working in a private, liberal arts, and/or religious affiliated institutional environment is recommended.

All admissions personnel must be willing to work evenings and weekends as necessary to support recruiting activities to achieve recruiting goals. Flexibility in scheduling work hours is essential. In addition, the candidate should have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license, as frequent travel within the DMV area is required.
