Director of Enrollment Development
Trinity in Washington, a comprehensive university in the nation’s capital, seeks experienced enrollment development team leaders for the university’s professional school student recruiting initiatives. Trinity seeks three outstanding admissions and marketing professionals who will lead the student recruiting teams for the School of Nursing and Health Professions, School of Education, and a combined effort for the School of Professional Studies/School of Business and Graduate Programs.
The director of the team for the School of Nursing and Health Professions must have at least 3 years of senior-level experience in student recruiting for Nursing and Allied Health Professions Programs, and related fields, preferably at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
The director for the team for the School of Education must have at least 3 years of senior-level experience in student recruiting for teacher preparation, school leadership, school counseling and mental health counseling programs, preferably at the graduate level.
The director for the team for the School of Professional Studies/School of Business and Graduate Programs must have at least 3 years of senior-level experience in student recruiting for undergraduate and graduate programs that serve working professionals entering programs in Business Administration, Accounting, Hotel and Hospitality Management, Human Relations and related professional fields.
The directors report to the Vice President for Enrollment Development. Each director supervises a team of recruiters and admissions advisors, and each director is also expected to manage a recruiting caseload. Successful candidates will have proven track records of success in developing lead pools and managing conversion and yield strategies; increasing applications and enrollments through innovative market outreach and sales strategies; building professional networks and student pipelines with corporate and nonprofit businesses in the Washington region; supervising the sales team to achieve daily, weekly and semesterly results according to Trinity’s strategic goals. Candidates must have excellent communication skills both orally and in writing, and be able to demonstrate creativity, flexibility, loyalty and stamina.
Baccalaureate degree required, master’s preferred.
These leadership positions require full engagement outside of a traditional M-F 9-5 work week. Some evening and weekend work is part of the routine for professional student recruiting. Compensation is competitive.
