Assistant Director of Athletics


Assistant Director of Athletics at Trinity Washington University, a NCAA Division III institution located in Washington, DC. This is a full-time, 10-month position. The Assistant Director is responsible for the administration of department handbooks and manuals, supervises academic tracking of student-athletes, coordinates all necessary paperwork for NCAA compliance, provide travel itineraries for head coaches and opposing institutions, oversee Stat Crew and all sport reporting with the NCAA, develop press releases, game write-ups, and box scores, maintains website on a daily basis, directs the work-study program – hires and trains all students, archive all athletically related materials, assists in home event management, and other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree required (Master’s Degree preferred) in an appropriate area of specialization, strong oral and written communication skills, computer competency and skills required, and at least one (1) year (preferably more) of NCAA Athletics Compliance experience.
