- The Trinity Tigers won their 10th game of the season last night beating the Crusaders from Christendom College 71-56. They only had a 7 point lead at the half but opened that up in the second half outscoring the Crusaders. Freshman guard Shelby Swann led the Tigers with 19 points. Junior guard Charity Blackwell followed with 12 points. Junior guard Christa Burgess had a season high 12 steals. The Tigers are now 10-4 on the season. - The Trinity Tigers posted an impressive victory Friday night beating the Patriots from Valley Forge College 61-52. The Tigers were up 8 at the half but slowly watched the Patriots erase that lead and at the 13 minute mark tied the game at 39. - The Trinity Tigers overcame a slow start Wednesday night beating the Phoenix from Wilson College 59-53. The Tigers were down ten points at halftime shooting on 12 percent from the floor. In the second half the Tigers out shot the Phoenix by 16 points. Junior guard Christa Burgess had a season high 20 points, 2 assists and 5 steals. The Tigers took a commanding lead early shooting 53% from the floor in the first half, they led going into halftime 45-3. Junior guard Thamar Polynice led the Tigers with 17 points, 6 assists and 9 steals. - The Trinity Tigers lost only their second game of the season Friday night losing to the Blazers from Hood College 80-59. The Blazers came out strong and after the first few minutes went on a 19-2 run breaking the game wide open. The Blazers had a commanding lead going into halftime. - January 11, 2012 The Trinity Tigers won their 6th straight game Wednesday night beating the Gators from the College Notre Dame 66-65. The Gators had the advantage going into halftime with a 40-32 lead. The Gators lead throughout most of the second half until a late surge by the Tigers brought them within two points with a minute left in the game. Christa Burgess tied the game with 60 seconds left.
