The School of Education celebrates Dr. Frances Plummer, who, after serving as a part-time instructor in the Educational Administration program for almost 20 years, is retiring.
Dr. Plummer began her career at Trinity in September 1998 after having retired as the principal from Robert Brent Elementary, a District of Columbia Public School. In her close to 19 years of service at Trinity, she has been an adjunct professor and a University Supervisor for the administrative interns in the Educational Administration Program.
Dr. Plummer’s favorite color is purple and she is seen either wearing or carrying something that is purple. As she leaves Trinity, she will have more time to spend with her son and his family including her young grandson. She will continue her participation in the choir at her church, travel, support her sorority, AKA, and serve in a leadership position with The National Alliance of Black School Educators (NABSE).
The School of Education and all who know her will miss her. We wish to thank her for her many years of service to Trinity and to its students.
