Dean’s Letter

Dear Trinity Seniors and Graduate Students:

Congratulations! You have completed your application to participate in the Commencement ceremony, and are completing (or have completed) your requirements for graduation. Trinity will confer your degree at the Spring 2014 Commencement on Saturday, May 17. I am writing to provide you with as much information as possible to make this a memorable time for you.

You are responsible to read and pay attention to the instructions that include information about completion of your academic requirements, financial obligations, and Commencement directions. In order to ensure a joyful Commencement weekend, we ask you to (a) take care of your academic and financial obligations well in advance, and (b) arrive on time for all events with all the appropriate regalia.

Commencement Photos
Commencement photos will be available to view and purchase on Friday, May 23.
You may purchase your academic regalia in Trinity’s Bookstore during regular posted hours. The prices for regalia are:

Bachelor’s Degrees (Undergraduate)
Cap, Gown, Tassel – $28.98, Hood – $21.98
(Associate’s degree candidates do not need to purchase a hood)

Master’s Degrees (Graduate)
Cap, Gown, Tassel – $31.98, Hood – $23.98

Beginning the week of April 22, 10 Commencement Announcements and 6 rain tickets will be mailed out to all graduates. Please make sure that your correct address is on file in the Enrollment Services Office.

You must RSVP about your Commencement participation by Monday, May 5; use the online form.

Please take a few minutes to fill out the Graduation Survey to give us important feedback on your Trinity experience and your future plans.

Please pay close attention to the rain plan. Ticket limits will be strictly enforced in the event of rain. Please plan accordingly with your family and guests to avoid conflict on Commencement day.

The Enrollment Services Office has communicated directly with you concerning academic requirements for graduation and about settling your accounts in time for graduation. You are responsible to pay attention to these directions and to settle your accounts in a timely manner in order to graduate.
