College of Arts and Sciences Dean's List Ceremony

The College of Arts and Sciences will be holding a Dean’s List Ceremony for students who received a GPA of 3.5 or better in the 2018-2019 academic year. The event will be held on, Thursday, September 26, 2019 at 4:30 PM in the O’Connor Auditorium at Trinity Washington University. The faculty and staff celebrate the success of our students and look forward to acknowledging their accomplishment in this public forum.
This year’s invited speaker will be Jameka Hodnett, ’14. As a community organizer, Ms. Hodnett has been hard set on paving a climate justice space where communities of color are represented, engaged and invested. She previously worked as a Program Director for DC Solar United Neighborhoods where she provided solar access to low-income communities across the DMV and as the Deputy Director of Civic Engagement at the League of Conservation Voters where she worked to expand voting rights in various states across the country. Currently, she is the U.S. National Field Manager at 350.org, where she leads a staff of 12 to implement just solutions that tackle the climate crisis. She holds a B.A. in International Affairs and Women’s Studies from Trinity Washington University and is in her final year of law school at UDC-David A.Clarke School of Law.
