Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society Induction
Tuesday, April 24, 6:00 pm - 07:00 PM - Trinity Washington University
Eleven students will be inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, the nation’s oldest honor society, at a ceremony on April 24, 2018 at 6pm in Rose Parlor. We are honored that former United States ambassador Susan Flood Burk ’76 will join us to share words of wisdom with the inductees.
Since 1776, election to Phi Beta Kappa has been recognized as a distinctive honor for those who meet the highest standards of achievement in the study of the liberal arts. The Epsilon Chapter at Trinity, chartered in 1971, annually elects eligible juniors and seniors to membership based on their fulfillment of the requirements established by the Chapter and by Phi Beta Kappa. Members are elected on the basis of scholarly achievement, broad intellectual interests and good character.
The 2018 Phi Beta Kappa inductees are:
Leslie Marie Brownlee
Gabrielle Lea Clary
Gabriela Michell Escobar
Yarely Zuheih Rodriguez
Patrice K Sykes
Karrin Ikeema Thompson
Karen Abigail Tituana
Many thanks to every member of the Trinity community, who supported the intellectual development of these stellar students.
