5th Annual Spring Research Day

Wednesday, April 17, 2019  | 10am-4pm | Payden Center Lobby

Please join us at the 5th Annual Spring Research Day where students in STEM, social science and the humanities will present their research at an interactive, engaging poster session.

The event is open to all faculty, staff, and students.This day will include talks from our NASA and Mellon Scholars, poster presentations, a keynote address, and lunch workshops.

 

Spring Research Day Program

10:00 am – 4:00 pm: Student Research Posters Displayed, Payden Academic Center Lobby

10:30 am- 11:45 am (AC 101)- “What’s Next?” [How to capitalize on opportunities to make your journey during and after Trinity “da best”!]

12:00 pm- 1:00 pm (AC 101 and AC 102)- “Lunch & Learn” [Presentations by our ACEs Undergraduate Researcher, NASA Undergraduate Research Cohort and Mellon Undergraduate Research Cohort. Learn about the research your Trinity sisters have conducted/are conducting and HOW you can get involved and do the same thing!!] Lunch will be provided for session attendees.

1:00 pm- 2:15 pm– Alumnae panel discussion [A panel of Trinity alumnae form multiple disciplines will have a conversation with you about undergraduate research, success factors, and much much more!]

2:15 pm- 4:00 pm– Poster Session [The Trinity community will engage in scholarly discussion about the great work being conducted by our CAS students!]
