Metro Red Line, Nov. 25–Dec 10: No Trains Between Ft Totten and Silver Spring

November 20, 2017 - Metro Red Line, Saturday, November 25 to Sunday, December 10, 2017: No Trains Between Fort Totten and Silver Spring Beginning on Saturday, November 25, through Sunday, December 10, there will be no Red Line trains operating between Fort Totten and Silver Spring (north of Trinity’s Brookland station) to undertake a major capital improvement project. The Takoma station will be closed. There will be limited supplemental bus service between Ft. March 24, 2017 - Trinity is experiencing Internet connectivity issues affecting student e-mail (e-mails to and from students and student e-mail log-ins), all e-mail from outside recipients, and on-campus access to the Internet and the Trinity website. Trinity Shuttle: Service Resumed To/From Brookland Station

November 27, 2016 - The Brookland Metro station has re-opened and the Trinity Metro Shuttle has resumed service to and from the Brookland Metro station on the regular schedule. The Metro Surge that disrupted service between NoMa and Fort Totten on the Red Line has ended and continuous service on the Red Line has been restored. As you return to campus after the Thanksgiving break on Sunday, November 27, and Monday, November 28, remember to take the Red Line to Brookland Metro station and take the Trinity Metro Shuttle to and from the Brookland station and Trinity’s campus. Taking Metro to Trinity? Major Red Line Service Disruption! Know Before You Go!

October 24, 2016 - Red Line Metro service will be disrupted from Saturday, October 29, through Tuesday, November 22: Brookland and Rhode Island Avenue Metro stations will be closed during this time and there will be NO service on the Red Line between Fort Totten and NoMa. The Trinity Shuttle will only go to Fort Totten, once an hour, and WILL NOT go to the Brookland Station. Wednesday, March 16: Metrorail Shutdown – Trinity Will Open on Schedule

March 15, 2016 - Metro just announced that it is shutting down the entire Metrorail system for 29 hours, starting Tuesday night at midnight tonight, and continuing through 5:00 am Thursday morning, to conduct a complete safety check.All six Metrorail lines and all 91 stations will be closed during this entire time period. Trinity will open on our regular schedule on Wednesday, and classes will be held all day and evening. However, those who cannot get to campus, or who are delayed, are excused.
