The Trinity Tigers basketball team seeking revenge for their loss back in November came out ready to play and beat the Shock from Washington Adventist 59-51.  The Tigers took the lead immediately and never looked back.  The Tigers were up by 14 points during the first half and went into halftime with a comfortable 11 point lead.

A few minutes into the second half, the Tigers went up by 17 but the Shock slowly started to close the gap and with 4:30 left in the game the Tigers were only up by one.  Two keys free throws by Thamar Polynice at the 2 minute mark gave the Tigers a 7-point lead but the turning point was a layup by Stefonie Kelly that gave the Tigers the momentum and a 9-point lead.

Senior forward Stefonie Kelly led the Tigers with a double-double, netting 20 points and 12 rebounds.  Junior guard Christa Burgess also had a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds.  Junior guard Thamar Polynice followed with 11 points.

During halftime Coach Renken honored the Tigers two seniors; Stefonie Kelly and Bree Martin for their dedication and hard work over the last four years.  This season, Stefonie averaged 5 rebounds per game and scored 228 points.  She shot 46% from the floor and 67% from the free throw line.  This season, Bree averaged 3 rebounds per game, scored 95 points and averaged 54% from the free throw line.

The Tigers ended their amazing season with a 14-9 record.
