Owens Named Association of Division III Independents Student-Athlete of the Month for February

March 10, 2011 -   For Immediate Release March 9, 2011   OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – The Association of Division III Independents (AD3I) named forward Danielle Owens (Washington, D.C.), a senior from Trinity Washington University, its Student-Athlete of the Month for the month of February. Owens averaged 11.6 points and 13 rebounds per game last month on her way to nine double-doubles on the seasn. She currently ranks 12th in the nation for rebounds per game and she leads the AD3I in both offensive and defensive rebounds. In the classroom, Owens is majoring in Criminal Justice. Continue reading
