On behalf of our staff, faculty and students in the College of Arts and Sciences, we want to extend a warm welcome to all of our accepted students. We look forward to meeting you and working with you throughout your years at Trinity.

Here are your next steps as an accepted student:


1. Submit your FAFSA: Complete your FAFSA onlineTrinity’s code is 001460 If you need help filling out your FAFSA, contact our Enrollment Services Office at 202-884-9530

2. Complete your required Student Health Form 2018-2019 and Insurance Information with the Health Center. 

In order to provide you with the best care possible, we first need to learn about your current health and past medical history. The university requires the following forms to be returned to the Health Center BEFORE AUGUST 18, 2018 (Fall) or JANUARY 14, 2019 (SPRING). All forms are sent to incoming new students by the Health Center, or can be obtained by contacting the Health Center at healthcenter@trinitydc.edu.  Forms are also linked below.

Forms can all be scanned and emailed to healthcenter@trinitydc.edu. If you have any questions about Trinity’s health form requirements, please contact Dr. Jacqueline Newsome-Williams, Director of The Health and Wellness Center at 202-884-9615.

Trinity Washington University is pleased to offer our students and their families Student Insurance Plan Options for the 2018-2019 Academic Year including access to comprehensive health care at an affordable premium, access to preferred providers for less out of pocket and online features to help you better manage your benefits.  All students must have health insurance while they attend Trinity Washington University.  If you already have comprehensive insurance coverage, you can submit a waiver and document your existing coverage.  The mandatory health fee of $125 per semester cannot be waived.

3. Interested in living on campus? Complete your housing application!

We are excited that you are considering living in our residence halls for your new home away from home! Living on campus is a privilege and a great opportunity to be close to classes and all the resources of campus.  Please review the eligibility requirements and complete the Housing Application to begin the process! If you have any questions about living on campus or the housing application process, please contact Shekeitha Jeffries, Director of Campus Housing at campushousing@trinitydc.edu or 202-884-9314.

4. If you have a physical, psychological, or cognitive disability and would like to identify yourself to the Disability Support Services (DSS) office complete this form

5. Orientation is Thursday January 10, 2019 All new CAS students entering Trinity in Spring 2019 semester are required to attend New Student Orientation.  Orientation is a time for students to make new friends, meet their faculty members, and prepare for the Trinity educational experience. Students will participate in workshops, classroom sessions, on-campus activities, and off-campus excursions during orientation. Orientation is a common experience shared by all Trinity sisters and is an event not to be missed!

  2. Submit your Application for Financial Aid
  3. Check the Academic Calendar for registration and orientation dates for the fall semester.
  4. If you have a physical, psychological, or cognitive disability and would like to identify yourself to the Disability Support Services (DSS) office complete this form

1. Schedule an appointment with your academic advisor, who is listed in the welcome packet sent to you by mail.

2. Register for your classes! Once your Declaration of Intent is submitted, you will be contacted by your academic advisor to plan your course selection/s.
