Associate Professor Cynthia Greer’s essay, “Runaway”, has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize. The essay was published in the Little Patuxent Review and the editors agreed that “Runaway” was a, “stand out piece of creative nonfiction” published in the 2017 winter edition.
The Pushcart Prize was founded in 1976 and receives up to six nominations from little magazine and small book press editors throughout the world. The nominations include a combination of poetry, short stories, essay, memoirs or stand alone excerpts from novels.
