Trinity Center for Women and Girls Trinity College in Washington cordially invites you to the grand opening celebration of the Trinity Center for Women and Girls in Sports, February 1-8, 2003. The Trinity Center complex includes a 1,700 seat arena for basketball, volleyball and other indoor sports; a six-lane swimming pool and spa; an indoor walking track; a fitness center; six tennis courts; and a competition field for soccer, lacrosse and field hockey. Trinity is a member of the NCAA Division III, Atlantic Women’s College Conference, with varsity teams in soccer, field hockey, lacrosse, basketball, tennis, crew, track and field, and adding softball, volleyball and swimming in 2003. In addition to these intercollegiate programs, through the Trinity Center, the College will offer a broad range of intramural, club and recreational sports for the campus community. Beyond the campus, the Trinity Center will also provide programs for
the Washington community through partnerships with the Girl Scouts of
the National Capital Area, Women’s Sports Foundation, Washington
Tennis and Educational Foundation, D.C. Scores, D.C. Public Schools, D.C.
Parks and Recreation, and other organizations serving children and the
community. Trinity will offer summer camps, clinics and after-school programs.
Individual memberships to the Trinity Center will also be available.
