| The
Trinity Center for Women and Girls in Sports is directly
behind Alumnae Hall and echoes the architectural themes
of this historic building. The new building includes
a gymnasium, six lane pool, fitness center, locker rooms,
walking track and offices. The Trinity Center complex
includes a new field and six new tennis courts. The
two buildings are connected and, in Phase II of the
project, Alumnae Hall will be renovated and the two
buildings will be fully united into a campus center,
with renovated kitchen and dining facilities, and other
student services.
Two award-winning architectural firms designed the
Trinity Center: Geier
Brown Renfrow, which specializes in architectural
restorations, and the Hughes
Group, which specializes in state-of-the-art
athletic facilities. Forrester
Construction was the general contractor for
the Trinity Center project. The firm Advanced
Project Management was the project manager for the
Trinity Center project.
